Fire of E2Gov evaluates emissions of pollutants and greenhouse gases from the surface of different tree species burned, through the following steps:

• evaluation of effective burned biomass
• evaluation of emissions of main pollutants (nitrogen oxides, carbon monoxide, sulfur oxides, volatile organic compounds excluding methane, particulate matter with diameter less than 10 microns and 2.5 microns, heavy metals, benzene, PAHs, dioxins) and   greenhouse gases (carbon dioxide, methane, nitrous oxide)

The plug-in represents the evolution of the original model Air Fire provided until 2010 as a separate model, and now integrated into E2Gov
