Landfill
Landfill of E2Gov assesses the emissions from landfills using the calculation model defined by the 2006 IPCC Guidelines for National Greenhouse Gas Inventories of the IPCC (International Panel on Climate Change).
The estimation is done by taking into account the:
- Amount of waste placed in landfills each year
- Composition of the waste
- Methodology for landfill management
- Recovery of biogas for energy purposes
